On Wednesday some of our 5th-8th grade students attended the Southern Lakes Advanced Learners Network Math Meet at UW Whitewater! They used their skills to complete numerous, challenging tests in all mathematical areas. The kids did amazing, and we are so proud. In addition, one of our 6th grade students took 1st place overall.

REMINDER! ALL SKATING PERMISSION SLIPS DUE FRIDAY!!!!!! (12/13)The unit will start January 13, but the permission slip is due Friday, December 13. We need to get the skates ordered as soon as possible. We will get all of the students' shoe sizes in PE class. All information regarding this unit can be found on the permission slip. This past Monday, some students from Randall learned what it takes and means to be a leader in Middle School. The event was led by Dr. Ted Neitzke. Thanks to Mrs. Moehling for organizing not just for Randall students, but for organizing the entire event!
Last week 7th and 8th graders were hired by "N.A.S.A." and worked to create plans for a Mission to Mars! Students had to work together to design a mission patch, create their colony proposal, determine what technology they would need on Mars, create the blueprint of their colony, design their colony's flag, and create advertisements to convince others to join them!

This week it is my pleasure to celebrate Joan Guzman and her work with our students preparing for the Veterans Day Assembly. Specifically, I'd like to highlight the solo performance by Liam . With the help of Joan's encouragement (and Liam's singing talent) Liam was able to perform in front of our entire school and over 100 veterans and guests!
