After a second round of judging, selected pieces are published in the annual anthology. Students whose work is published are celebrated at a special ceremony in May and receive a copy of the book featuring their work 📖✨
This year’s theme was “The Journey.” Randall received over 100 submissions, making the selection of the top 24 a difficult task. Last week, the final round of judging took place, with over 800 pieces submitted across participating districts.
Randall is incredibly PROUD to announce that 16 of our 24 pieces were selected for publication! While we wish every piece could be chosen, having 16 published is a tremendous accomplishment.
We are so impressed with our students—their creativity truly took us on some amazing journeys. We can’t wait to celebrate all of our talented authors and artists!

Stay Warm, Wildcats! Check out the Week 20 Smore while enjoying some hot chocolate or cider!
We will be having Crispy Chicken Nuggets and French Fries on Tuesday, January 27th, in place of Chicken Tenders and Rosemary Garlic Potatoes.
STAY WARM
Thank you,
The Kitchen

Please know that an email and text messages have also been sent.

The weather forecast is being continually monitored, with the announced Extreme Cold Warning expected to begin late Thursday evening and continue through Friday, with cold temperatures persisting through the weekend. As with any forecast, there remains the possibility for change.
You can expect communication from Randall by 4:00 pm on Thursday. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We know the weather will be very cold—and possibly snowy—over the next few days. Please know that Randall Administration, along with other area district administrators, closely monitors conditions through regular communication with the National Weather Service and in partnership with our transportation providers.
Whenever possible, we try to notify families the day before any weather-related changes, though this is not always possible due to changing conditions.
A message explaining our weather decision-making process was sent to all families this afternoon via email. Stay warm, Randall!

The students shared a powerful takeaway: instead of running from challenges or hiding from them, they learned to be like the buffalo and face challenges head-on, heading straight into the storm. What a meaningful leadership lesson, valuable at any age, and an incredible experience for our students.
A special thank-you to Mrs. Moehling for her leadership and support of this group. We are proud of our students and the growth they continue to show.

Our Week 19 Smore is ready to go! We hope you enjoy it
Friday, 1/16, the second hot option will be Crispy Chicken Sandwich instead of Hot Dogs.
Monday, 1/19, the main entree will be Orange Chicken with Rice instead of Dutch Waffle.
Have a wonderful day,
The Kitchen

Project Randall (Year 3) continues to grow as a collaborative, project-based learning space for students in grades 6–8. Over the break, a new garage door was installed, allowing the space to open up and better support collaboration, teamwork, and flexible learning.
In addition, a picture wall has been added to Randall’s new office space, with images recently installed. This wall creates a meaningful way to celebrate our students and the learning happening every day. The images will be refreshed one to two times each year so many students can be highlighted over time.

Our amazing 5th-8th grade Math Meet team recently represented the Randall Wildcats at the regional competition held at UW Whitewater. With over 250 brilliant students from various districts in attendance, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect, collaborate, and challenge ourselves!
Our team faced some very tough math problems, but they persevered with determination and teamwork. Working under a time limit, they solved problems together, showcasing not just their math skills but also their incredible spirit and camaraderie.
A huge shoutout to our students for their hard work and to everyone who participated! We can't wait for the next competition! 🏆📚💪 #RandallWildcats #MathMeet
