Randall Update - From the Desk of Mr. Rivard

Hello and Happy Halloween, Randall Families!

Special thanks to our very generous PTC for providing a hearty meal for all teachers during parent-teacher conferences this past week. We are fortunate to have your support! And a HUGE thank you to our families for making our annual book fair a rousing success again this year! Our Fall Classroom parties are scheduled to take place today. Thank you (in advance) to all of our parent volunteers for your support of our students and staff.

I would also like to extend an invitation to come and watch our pep band, cheerleaders, and girls basketball teams perform and play at one of our upcoming home games. They are a joy to listen to and watch. Our next home game is on November 2nd.

Go Wildcats!

Juvenile Diabetes Awareness - Assembly and Walk

On Friday, October 20 our students brought awareness to Juvenile Diabetes by purchasing shoes for $1 each. All proceeds from the shoe sales were donated to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund). Students were treated to a performance from the Wilmot Marching Band led by Mr. Dave Dvorak. Our students also had the benefit of listening to our very own, Mrs. Welsh, who shared her personal connection to juvenile diabetes by talking about her son and his experiences. Enjoy some pictures below!

We are happy to share that we will be launching our first student survey during the week of October 16-20. Students in grades 3-8 will complete the brief survey. Mr. Rivard, Mr. Adamek and Mrs. Sproul will be visiting all 3-8 classrooms to help all students better understand the purpose of the survey as well as its importance for our continuous improvement efforts. The data gathered from students will be shared with teachers, our community and the Board of Education.
