Randall Referendum 2018
Public Information Meetings held at Randall School Library
February 12th - 6:00 PM March 7th - 6:00 PM March 21st - 8:30 AM
At the Randall School Board of Education meeting on January 10th, the motion for an operational and facility referendum passed unanimously. The motion stated that Randall School would present a referendum to their voting public, which includes the Village of Twin Lakes and Town of Randall, on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 for their support on two separate referendum questions.
The first question will ask the community to continue their current operational referendum that is expiring this year for three more years at $675,000 per year. This will allow Randall School to maintain and enhance current educational opportunities for students. Randall continues to enhance programs and increase achievement for all students.
The second question will ask the community to support a $5.5M capital referendum to make improvements and updates to the school facilities. Over the past 2 years, the Randall Board of Education and Leadership team have conducted a facility study and identified areas of immediate concern. These include addressing safety and security needs, expanding and remodeling of cafeteria, the addition of four classrooms, including a new STEM science classroom, replacing the elementary roof, and making building infrastructure and site improvements.
For more information regarding the upcoming referendum, attend an upcoming public informational forum in the Randall School library.
