Mrs. Syreini
Sixth Grade Teacher

I have been teaching Language Arts and Reading at Randall School since 2005. I believe the reading and writing processes work hand-in-hand so I strive to incorporate that important relationship into my classroom. Due to the importance of both of these processes, it is my goal to model to students my interest in each and share how each is a part of the world, both inside and outside of school. I aim to help students relate texts to their own lives and encourage them to share their thoughts and ideas with others. Through teaching writing, I enjoy watching students develop clear, meaningful, and effective ways to communicate with others. I also enjoy preparing students for our school's forensics meet each year and being a chaperone for the annual 7th grade field trip to Camp Upham Woods.
I married my husband in April of 2007 on the beaches of the Riviera Maya, Mexico. Together, we enjoy traveling, mountain bike riding, and working on our new home.
I consider myself extremely lucky to be apart of this school community and I look forward to meeting new students and families every school year!
