Mrs. Smith

RtI Teacher

Welcome!  My name is Mrs. Smith and I have been teaching at Randall since the 2006-2007 school year.  It was with great pleasure that I accepted this teaching position at Randall.  I am very proud to work at Randall.  I work with exceptional colleagues, families and most importantly, children!

I am a teacher who believes in creating life-long learners.  My goal is that each student believes that he or she can and will be successful.  As each student journeys through the year it is important for us to practice character education traits and support one another on this wonderful voyage of learning.  If we work together there is nothing we cannot accomplish as a team!  The greatest expectation I have of all my students is that they always try their best.  Lastly, let's be sure to have fun!  We will be learning, making discoveries, and experiencing new things together.  We need to laugh a lot, get messy, be good friends and explore together.

A little about me...

I grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.  I graduated from high school in 2000 and set off to achieve my goal of becoming a teacher.  In 2004, I received my educational degree from Carroll College, and in 2009 I graduated from Aurora University with a Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy. I married my best friend on July 15, 2006.  I live in Lake Geneva with my husband Andy, daughter Maelynn,  and our dog Cosmo.  Andy also shares my passion for educating children as he is also a teacher.  Outside of school we enjoy traveling, camping, reading, the outdoors and sports!  We love playing and watching sports.  We cheer on the Packers, the Brewers, and of course the Badgers!
