
(A Computer & History Project)

Introduction:
Ancient Egypt is such a fascinating civilization! For this Web Quest you are going to become an expert on life in Ancient Egypt. You have just been hired as a curator for a new museum that is opening up in this part of Wisconsin. People from all over the U.S. will be visiting your museum to learn more about Ancient Egypt. Your job is to teach museum visitors about life in this amazing time period from history.

Task:
Here are the steps you will need to follow this project:
1) You will be assigned a group.
2) Your group will have to research 4 aspects of Ancient Egyptian life. (2 of the choices will be given to you and 2 your group will be allowed to pick) As you research you will fill out a four square note taking sheet.
3) After finding out information; your group will prepare a 6 slide PowerPoint project that will be used to inform visitors of the museum about life in Ancient Egypt. Be sure your PowerPoint follows the important guidelines. See the project sheet for more information.
4) Your group will then present your PowerPoint to the group.
Remember to share the work evenly amongst the team.

Evaluation:
Your PowerPoint with the rubric that will be given to you in class. The grade will count for computer class AND history class.

Conclusion:
Congratulations! You did it! You learned an incredible amount of information about Ancient Egypt.
