Junior High Teacher/Art
I have been teaching at Randall since 2004. I teach Art as well as Art Excel. It has given me the opportunity to share my interest in art and design and to help instill the appreciation of art with my students.
One of my goals this year was to start a "Community Outreach Program" using the arts. The students gave back to their community by going into two assisted living homes and sharing their talents. They created art, played music and sang to and along with the residents. This was a very successful learning experience as the students shared their talents. This is one of many adventures we will take in order for our students to give back to their community.
