The S.t.r.i.d.e. Program!
Students Taking Responsibility In Demonstrating Excellence
STRIDE stand for:

S.tudents

T.aking

R.esponsibility

I.n

D.emonstrating

E.xcellence

The STRIDE Program is for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

There are four reasons for getting a stride check.

  1) Chewing or possession of gum

2) Disruption in the classroom or the hallway

3) Being late to class

4) Defacing your S.T.R.I.D.E card

Rebates: If you receive a S.T.R.I.D.E. check and then go 5 consecutive school days without receiving another one, it will get rebated.

When you get your fifth S.T.R.I.D.E. check a notification will be sent home with the child notifying that they've gotten their fifth stride check.  When they receive their sixth stride check they will receive a detention

Every quarter, if you don't receive eight S.T.R.I.D.E. checks, you can go on an incentive.
